The House

Kluge & Co. is the high-confectionery house founded in 1861 by Jan Kluge and Jan Bergmüller in Prague-Smichov.


Over the years, the company received many awards for its unique chocolate products, unparalleled craftsmanship, and customer-centric approach from all satisfied customers, especially from the Emperor of Austria-Hungary, Franz Joseph I. himself. The house obtained permission to use the title of the Imperial chocolate factory.

The house is currently owned by the Pustejovsky family, which is exceeding in providing exceptional imperial experience build on a combination of exclusive products, unforgettable customer service, strong family values, socially responsible long-term strategy, authentic brand spirit, and its unique brand heritage.
